Maybe you should try to run the game with DX7 instead of DX9.
Older Graphic cards like mine -.- don't like DX9 with the game.
DX7 looks shitty but it worked to me. (I had some other problems with DX9 too like pinky and green textures and stuff like that)

can you help me, i have had this game before and it has worked fine i got a virus and had to wipe my computer out and now i have tryed to d load it again and it worked and when i tryed to play the game it did work but it was really slow and i had have this problem before and i forgot how i fixed it no matter what i did it did not speed up disk defrag diskcleanup anything i tryed did not work do you have any suggestions for this problem and what is your graphics for it btw i got a better vid card

Well, Ive never had that problem. but my Video card is an Nvidia Gforce 8600 with 256MB. its not perfect, but i can run top of the line games on it. But i would like a new proceser(i STILL use a pentium dual core).
