How's this for irony? I was thinking of this song in the shower this morning, but couldn't remember the title. I come on Youtube & it's literally recommended to me! As for the creepy cabbie; he reminds me of the ghost of Christmas past on Scrooged, something else that I was thinking about before I stumbled upon this video, because of the holidays. This is the first time I've seen the video version, fab song, dorky vid! Didn't that beautiful woman appear on an ELO vid in 1984?

@Joshuwiii That's okay. You don't have to understand a song to enjoy a song. Personally, I think it's about experiencing life, experiencing other people's lives that our different than yours. Kind of breaking the barriers of your comfort zone and really understanding what the world is like. Also, I think it's a sympathetic song, perhaps, for people that culture may look down upon.
