Here's one I recorded when I lived in Nashville. Back in 05 I think this was..maybe before, I can't remember. What I do know is that there are a TON of really talented singers in Nashville. It was a wilderness of talent. It doesn't make sense to me how much talent is there that never gets signed. The biz is weird to me.

Hey Drew...i read what all you wrote in your post here and I agree with you. It is all about HEART...music is the essence of true artist whether you are signed or not. Its a passion embedded deep within a persons spirit. (like David in the bible) Ive had several friends go to Nashville and get clobbered...I never felt I was good enough to go but then again, ive never been one to want to make it there either. I am quite content here singing in my small little band. :) Its finding where U are best

@blessedangel1972 : That's awesome. Sing where it feels right ...right? I felt like I could sing for sure,...when I lived there. But there was always so much talent around that it's hard to be noticed...and there were so few opportunities at times that it was hard for me to stand up and take another artists spot if you know what I mean. At least in the circles I ran, it was very much a "look at me..I'm going to be a star" thing...and I couldn't hang with that. too laid back I guess. ???

drew listen, you have heard this alot i am sure, but you are so very talented, dont ever loose sight of who you are and where you come from, who loves you for you and who doesnt, and who doesnt think your good enough, you know who you are, who loves you, and that you are damn good enough for whatever you want to do in your life, know there are people who love you for you, want to hear your music because we love you not because of fame, and cant wait to see your cd cause its one of your passions.
