silly considerations. How powerful is Octavia? 180 ? So rememebr they have same capicities BUT Ocvtavia is not NA, it has turbo. With no pressure added Civic smashes it mercilessly which the difference between engine built quality and conception

In that video is that a british 1.8l vti 5door? then the official time for that one is 8.3sec 0-100. the skoda has an official time of 7.9sec 0-100. and the atr a little quicker with 7.2sec 0-100. so the skoda maybe a hint quicker then that vti? but the normal 3/4door vti 96-00 does have an official time of 7.8sec 0-100.(which is the car I was referring to and I thought was in there).

and the old 92-95 civic even has an official time of 7.3sec 0-100. that one is a better match for the atr.

I have both the Octavia vRS and an Accord Type-R, the Octavia is quicker than people expect it to be. I'm pretty sure it would pip a VTi standard for standard. Against the ATR certainly not, but the difference isn't as big as you'd think...
