I took the exact pdf from the White House website and opened it in Photoshop. I then took a copy of the "Obama" name on one line and put it over the "Obama" in another line. The "B"s match exactly !! This is a statistical impossibility unless the document is a fake. No typewritter from 1961 will produce the exact letter on the pixel level.... The person who made the fake document forgot to make a different "B" on the pixel level. If you don't believe it, try it yourself in Photoshop.

  • If you believe this, I'm sorry to tell you that you have been played for a rube. This video will show you Obama's birth certificate with layers, as though different pieces of text were added on top of another document to make a forgery.

PDF files don't have layers. Simply call your local junior college and ask for the graphics arts department. Ask about PDF file properties and whether they have layers.

Do come back here and leave a comment that you're really mad about having been lied to!

  • @islandsunderwater - This long version shows you how I got the pdf from the WhiteHouse website, opened it in photoshop, copied the "obama" and moved that layer onto the other "obama". Next time..... think before you speak :)

  • You don't have to wonder why the PDF has layers and clipping masks in it, just try scanning a document into PDF and see what you get. This is what it always looks like. The old days of a single flat image in a PDF container are long gone, like 10 years ago. Learn about it before you stir up nonsense like this.

  • Also, the PDF file was enhanced . . . because it's a 50 year old document. First, think about what typewriters were like back in 1961. Second, think about how you would complain if you couldn't read the document, or if it was fuzzy or faded.

Henced why it was enhanced, so people can read it. Though I think that the white house should upload a straight-up version, no enhancement, along side the enhanced version to allow for easy reading.

  • Kansas born woman +

    in college in Hawaii +

    35+ weeks pregnant +

air travel on a plane built in the 50's +

flying halfway around the world +

    Kenya, in 1961 +

Health care provisions in Kenya =/= . . .make any sense.

Seriously, no sense, whatsoever. No sane, educated, white woman, would travel to Kenya, while close to giving birth. It's illogical, and quite stupid to think it is possible. Where would you want to give birth, right now, Hawaii or Kenya?

  • This video is an example of what happens when someone who doesn't know what he is talking about tries to "investigate." The layers are perfectly normal in optimized PDF's.

  • O.K we know Barry Sotoro is not legally the president of the se United States . What do we do about this high level lawlessness ?

  • @BalmungSama0 Ok, so no. when you scan a document into a PDF file its not stored as vector graphics like characters or lines or vector images made in Acrobat or Illustrator would be. Its stored as a bitmap (or some compressed version thereof). And yes, the resolution does make a difference for where the pixel boundaries line up. I tried it at 400dpi and it still works. Rather than me talk about prime numbers and factorization and a bunch of BS as to why, just try it again, ok?

  • @htomerif Just tried it at maximum resolution. Damn-near perfect.

    Huh.

  • @htomerif I don't see why it's unnecessary. The text is saved as a vector. You can zoom in to infinity. There is no unnecessary resolution. Further, I don't see how extra resolution would damage the results. The Bs may be close, but at a higher resolution, we can see that they are different.

  • @htomerif scratch that. OSX is giving me the wrong resolution. anyway, try it at 200 or 400 dpi
