Dealer Promo Film. These films were created by Roy Ross and used by Chrysler Dealers using their Kodak Supermatic 60 film projectors. They could be viewed by sales people or even by the potential customer. The Kodak Supermatic 60 film system was launched in the early 70's. They used a film loop cartridge. 1975 was the best selling year for Chrysler since 1969 even though overall, 1975 was a poor year for the auto industry in general. A mere 9000 Imperials were sold in it's final year as a make of car. The Imperials would be reintroduced three more times by Chrysler, one in 2007 as a Show Car

  • You wouldn't happen to have any films on the Cordoba or the '76-'78 New Yorker Brougham, would you?!!

  • @landyachtfan79 I might have one on the Charger from the same time period but no, not on the New Yorker or Cordoba. Sorry

  • My father was strictly a Mopar family car guy. He used to own a 77 Newport, 71 Newport Custom, 66 300, 61 Windsor, 58 New Yorker. I wish i had a big Mopar to own and be happy forever.

  • @BNforever2009 My grandparents on both sides of the family owned some chryslers but my Dad was a Chevy GM guy. As a kid, i always loved the chryslers. Then i worked for a Factory owned Chrysler Store for 3 years.....best memories. I owned a 58 New Yorker, my first car. Many of our mechanices owned some of the cars you mentioned. Great cars...and I am now a proud owner of an Imperial Convertible and a St Regis. :O) Get one Soon! You'll never regret it!

  • @OsbornTramain You'll love the change we've made.......

  • My parents bought a 1975 Town & Country, brand new. They got rid of it in '79, the year before I started driving. What a car. I really miss that one. Ours had the optional smaller engine (the 400). Previous to that car they had a '72, same model.

  • That is still the prettiest car i ever seen (besides the 61 and 60 Chrysler 300 letter series) If i was a pro ball player, i would have a collection of mint and restored

Mopars and i would end up having 10 of them.

  • i like the cars, pity the video is of bad quality!!!

  • OH DAMN I WANT THIS. tell then I will make due with my 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis LS

  • Most beautiful cars in the world.

  • In 1975, the only automobile manufacturer in the world that had a better breaking system for their cars, than what was on the Chrysler Imperial, was Mercedes Benz. The Imperial had better brakes than on a BMW and a Rolls Royce.

  • What this guy says in the video is true- these cars ride fabulously and handle great! I had a 77 Newport, and it was the best riding car I ever owned. It handled amazingly well for a big car and it went where you put it- you weren't constantly correcting the steering.
