  • how do u make it do the snake and stuff as if its in a sleep mode?

  • I've got one coming in the mail. I'm slowly dying here waiting.

  • I don't even use Ableton but this is still awesome

  • @ShazMurasame just answered my own question by going on another vid

the answer is YES for anyone wondering

  • yo

can I 4-track mix with this beast?

in other words, assign the treb, mid and low of EQ3 on 4 audio tracks onto the knobs, so in effect it's a 4-channel mixer?

and could I assign effects onto the crossfaders, so that I can change the reverb etc on drum samples in the sample grid?

I want to end up mixing 4 tracks together whilst spamming junglist drums on top of it, but the video doesn't make it entirely clear if this is plausible...

    thanks for any help ☺

  • @jagb13 I have a few,my latest is a Alesis q49-$150,does the job

  • @CosmicFool2012 I have no "interface" but a Yamaha MG166CX-USB for Recording ... I only need a midi interface, like I said, for controlling Traktor/Ableton and maybe controlling my MPC or SP via my Computer sometimes for more freedom in music ;)

  • @DutcHcHinK

Let's be clear about our terminology: An "interface" is a device that converts audio from analog to digital signals, and vice versa. This is what you plug your mics, keyboards, etc into. This you NEED for recording. On the other hand, a "controller" is merely a USB device that controls things on the computer screen, much like a video game controller. This you DON'T NEED for recording. A "midi interface" is a device that converts standard midi connections into USB. Which you need?

  • @universalflowster What you would say is a good "allround" interface for producing and djing ? I got a 16 channel mixer for recording but I need also a midi interface for controlling Traktor and Ableton ... What you think is useful ?
