Anna blushed as Bryan walked by. She hadn't blushed for anybody since she realized how much she liked Robby.
She was startled when he stopped in front of her.
"Anna?"
"Yeah Bryan?" she asked, still blushing fiercely.
"I was wondering if you would go with me to that awards dinner the Bradshaw's are hosting?" he said.
Anna found herself saying yes. The rest of the conversation passed in a blur because she could only focus on her impending date. Her first date.
She skipped all the way to art class.
"Why are you so happy?" Robby asked with a chuckle as Anna accidentally tried to mold his arm into the shape of a bunny for the second time.
"Bryan asked me out." she said, giddily working on her clay.
She heard a shatter and turned to see the bowl Robby had made earlier in the week shatter.
"Oh no Robby. It's broken." Anna gasped, knowing how hard he had worked on it.
"Yeah. It is." Robby said holding his chest.
