This is a great cajon. I have the exact one. I took the snares off because it gives it a tin sound taking away from the rich tones. I love it. I also have the one for kids because (smaller than this one) because it gives me a higher pop on the high tones. I definitely recommend it, but, be warned, it needs to played with a lighter hand as opposed to traditional bongo.

@SmithBluedevil8 lol yes. but dont worry, its more stupid to never know ;-)

that is pretty neat....

Might sound stupid... but im guessing this is the one without the snares?

i got this and i was very disapointed. it is quite hard to play (unlike "real" bongos) and it is not very loud.

@brasilinkas Por lo visto no leíste el título del video. Este instrumento se llama bongo cajon, no se llama bongo. Esta marca Meinl tiene su propia línea de bongos tradicionales con parches. Pon más atención.

@robpomeroy this is not supposed to imitate the sound of real bongo drums, it called the bongo cajon because it HALF bongo, and HALF cajon. this is a cool portable percussion instrument and it has a good sound
WHOA WHOA WHOA, the can you hear that SURROUND SOUND? OMG :33
