The riff is exactly that of the Mother Father bridge/outro, and, in fact, the words "litho" and "blitho" mean mother and father in an African language. Also worth noting about the title is that it was recorded in Studio Litho, which is Stone Gossard's studio in Seattle ("litho" is a Greek root word for "stone").

so.. this song is about mom, and dad, and stones, or stone gossard's mom or stoned studio from stone gossard stoned mother or a riff about some other song about dave mathews, I can hear better when I get stoned, and I'm right now at my mom's.

I had this c.d. once upon a time. If had known it was rare I never would have loaned it out (it was never returned. what a shock, right?). It has some really great tracks but Dave's track really stands out (IMO)!

its an awsome riff!!!! can you imagine the things they came up with and never realsed monster of music you can make 4 or 5 cds just on songs they have'nt released they rock!
