if you understood what you read you would also see that the contradictions that jesus spoke are spcific and pointed some proving the trinity if you read the bible to understand rather than to pick apart you would see context. the word is shallow enough for toddlers to play in and deep enough for philosophers to drown. until you give up your control you would never understand. what if your wrong? it becomes very important.

u poor sad silly little man. you kno the bible prophisied much of jesus struggle if not all of it several hundred years before he came? you kno that if any of your emotional breakdaown ideas were accurate the disciples pobably would not have waited three days before diong such. you are striving at the end of all reaches to give yourself the confidence to say it didnt happen. but you say probably, assuming that God created the Universe with a word why would it be difficult? jesus did rise.

i never made fun of your use of the word 'there' or 'your', and you never called me names. cool :D
ok, to back up my critiques of NT having jesus contradict himself: i certainly dont need any source other than the bible for that.
try john 3:16 vs john 6:65
or just search: "jesus contradicting himself"
i'm sure you'll get some hits

"so just chill, go back to ur 1801 textbooks"
I only study modern scholars and I can actually cite and quote them. William Lane Craig is alive and well. So is J.P. Moreland, Daniel Wallace, Robert Eisenman, N.T. Wright, Bart Ehrman, Michael Licona, etc, etc.
"with your 10,000 year old earth and sit and rock despondently as you wait for the rapture. peace"
And you aren't being an ass, dude?
I study modern scholars.
The earth is 4.55 billion years old.
There is no rapture.

"and to top it off, youre wrong about the issue. jesus didn't say many of the things that the bible says he did"
Please just simply back up your claim that most scholars agree to this. The only scholars that should be consulted should be scholars in the field you are mentioning. You haven't quoted a textual critic that agrees with you yet. You can keep repeating yourself all you want. It means nothing till you cite your source and quote a scholar who has a degree in this field.
You are a thoughtful person, but the sun does not actually rise, rather the earth rotates into position and we see the sun again. it is always shining somewhere, You will never reason yourself into the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is experienced. It is an encounter. Once had it changes you. it is supernatural.
There are still people, dying today for the same reasons, don't doubt the experience of thousands and thousands of people who have laid there life down.
