Betta Macrostoma Sparring

I do not fight them. I have this theory that if you put males together for a bit, it will encourage breeding because there's competition. I always take them out before any attacks are made towards one another. And I paid A LOT for them, so letting them fight would be foolish.

dude, thank you for posting up this video man! i mean i've seen these guys before at the pet shops, etc. but i never really cared for them cause they cost so damn much and didn't even know what they were! but wow they are incredible! seriously...never knew they opened their mouths like that. how big do they get? How big should ones tank be ? how old do they get?

@hathN0o They can get to 4 inches and live for several years. I housed pairs in 20L tanks with covers as they are known to jump. Also provide plenty of hiding spots.

the other day i went to a betta shop, i saw something that looks like that, i was like WTF is this? this looks like a betta but entirely different...but when i saw it i was like damm these guys are big but they were order by someone because it said reserve for some hmong dude....how much did you pay for these guys, man i want too..
