@loveCalisto Yes,they are..but when they let us ride them,we can,for a moment, borrow a little of their freedom.I ride, and i am forever in awe that a 1000+ animal trusts me enough to let me get on his back.I will never betray that trust.

@Caliekat15 I totally agree with you that riding is a partnership that take huge amounts of trust, respect and love. But as a trainer, i'd have to disagree with you about the weekend warrior. I spend 5 days a week riding and caring for client's horses. When they are nervous, scared or sick they want the person who makes hot bran mashes in the winter, the one who wraps sore legs, the one who stays up all night with them when they're ill; not "mommy" who they only see once a week.

I just wanted to mention how much I love your video. I can be quick to lose my confidence about my riding skill and I had some issues while riding today that shot my confidence a little, but watching all these horse and rider videos has made me realize that despite the faults and mistakes I may have with riding, giving up will get me nowhere.

Man that was a great video!!! I will do anything for my friendship with the horses I have!!! People who have horses would understand that, that is a partnership no person can replace!!!
I was once told that a trainer can ride the clients horse five days a week in a program, show and almost always be beaten by the weekend warrior rider. This is because the weekend warrior spends so much more "time" out of saddle with the horse and their bond is much stronger. Personally after riding for 22 yrs if you dont have that connection, when the chips are down and you need the horse to step up, pick up the riders slack they will almost always Cash out. Riding is a Partnership.
