This is what God has called me to do:
Isa 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, Because the LORD has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives And freedom to prisoners;
Isa 61:2 To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,
Isa 61:3 To grant those who mourn {in} Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.
Isaiah 61:1-3 NASB

wow! thank you so much! this song describes how i've been feeling these last few months, it's encouraging to know that God doesn't see me the way i see myself. i like the part where it says: "I want to be what he sees for me" this is what my heart's desire now. would you happen to have the chords for this song? i'd like to be able to sing and play it on my own personal devotion. God Bless Dennis!

How true we always see the ashes, the negatives but not the beauty. Thanks for this reminder n may the Lord open our spiritual eyes to see what He sees n walk in it. God bless.

Jesus* Blessings to you
Pray for faith to trust Him more...
He will never let us down... but are we willing to give Him time to work things out on our behalf? Often times our impatiences is our downfall in Him.
Hold on and trust... believe Him
