This is interesting seeing that these types of things are going on in iraq and afghanisation due to your governments attrocites, yet bush has killed over a 1 million people in iraq alone and displaced millions in afghanistan. Why dont you see whats going down with israel and the palestines thats the reality of things.

As I said.. admitting there is a genocide, we would have to act.
Since we dont have any ( or if any its very few) americans in Africa, we choose to shut the door from any action going on there.
If there was a mass migration to Africa however, and many US citizens were living there - things would change.
Ignorance is bliss - ever hear that?

@GirlSkiier It's a sad state of affairs for sure.
What do you think is the root cause of the problem?

Sorry then, your comments were misleading.
Simply present the facts, show the images, and make a difference.
If you go around and ask people if they know of Darfur, most of them will have no idea what it is. We're ignorant. We only pay attention to things in the world that affect us - iraq and the middle east for the oil, haiti because we have americans there, chile - we also have americans there.. darfur- oh no us citizens - SHUT THE DOOR. Its really sad. Great president, huh?
Horrible song. Horrible actors.

Greater atrocities are committed here than in Iraq. and yet we invaded Iraq for "democracy." We can't pick and choose who to help or save, can we? That is not moral.

@bundangbear We didnt just invade Iraq for the sake of democracy, we invaded the middle east as a sake of our security in the US. It was not a matter of who we choose to help or save - its a matter of saving American lives and protecting the US. Twin towers, gone - and even the pentagon was almost destroyed. What were we supposed to do? Sit at a table and talk with Saddam Hussein?
