"Fasty" the 1971 Volkswagen Squareback Station Wagon!

I have never really taken the time before now to go out and shoot a nice video featuring Fasty, so I thougt I'd do that today since it is such a beautiful spring day! This has got to be about my favorite VW ever (and I've had a lot of 'em!).

After shooting this video, the kids and my wife and I drove over to McDonald's in Fasty to grab a nice cool McFlurry! What an awesome day to enjoy rolling in such a fun little car!

I love your car man... I had the same model and year in high school.... although mine was automatic, couldn't tell if yours was. Called mine Guaguis... means small wagon. Amazing how much I still miss it. Enjoy!

vw type 3's (squarebacks) were considered the "upgrade" of beetles. more spacious, better cooling for the engine, better suspension which created a much better smoother ride and braking system innovated to disc brakes in the front and drums on the rear. this was the first step to innovation.

Nice Squareback! I find those things on your neighbor's lawn interesting! It looks like a cesspool cover, an electric box and and a hit-guard preventative pipe.
