Footage comparison (version 1 of 2) encoded at 1080p

For some time now, we wanted to do a video comparison test. The following footage was shot at 1080p using the DVCPro50HD Codec (P2, 4:2:2). When it came time for compressing the video for uploading, we decided to see how smoothly it streams and how clean it looked. This is version one, an 817 meg, 1080p file. We've also uploaded another version that was compressed at a more traditional 640 pixels wide and a flie size of only 143 megs. You can now decide for yourself if it's really necessary to be uploading such large file sizes.
