Sadly Leeds made an error in taking on Cloughie directly after Don. Both behaved in childish ways ( being so intolerable of each other & having to back up their own gobs!) & this affected any chance Clough had of success at Leeds. Shame, as without this egotistical issue Leeds would have been the biggest club in Britain, maybe Europe.

Could Clough have been successful at Leeds had they had some patience? I don't think so, at least not immediately after Revie left. Brian would have had to clean house in order to have the level of free reign that he had at Nott Forest and nobody would have had the patience to let that happen.

it's a pity "dirty leeds" never got the credit their footballing ability deserved,they could play but they "bent the rules too often"and that was all the fault of bremner and revie.those two were hated........just think about this.....shankly,clough,robson,busby,stein, ALL LOVED AND MISSED BY SUPPORTERS OF EVERY CLUB EVERYWHERE.who apart from leeds fans grieve for bremner and revie?NO ONE and thats a sad legacy considering what the pair of them had to offer the "beautiful game" but didn't.
