  • Riane, I love you so much and I don't even know you. The meer image of you can send me to tears at times. In the midst of my third abusive relationship I read Sacred Pleasure and it changed my life forever. Of course there were other factors that lifted me out of it all. But, your words made me respect myself and gave me validation as a human. I could never say thank you enough.

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO.

  • yes I agree with this woman she is amazing

  • Totally WUWU. But I suspect the feminazis but love this WUWU.

Aside: Perhaps we should not include womens studies salaries and other such fundings in GDP, if this crapola is the result. Makes sense, no?

  • I've been listening to a lecture with her and Terence McKenna back in the 90s sometime, and that's how I got here to this video. Looks like I have a lot of reading to catch up on. :)

  • Really an AWESOME LEADER, she is well beyond her time, the world may not be ready....sad but true

  • care care care and give give give without hesitation.

  • Problems: 1. you cited prisons, oilspill cleanup, etc. as not adding value. that's debatable. 2. The vast inequity and chaos is caused by insufficient regluation of peoples' private and organizational deals (contracts) with one another. Changing the system of semantics or notation (accounting, consolidation, economics, GDP) for these things accomplishes nothing. 3. internalizing externalities puts that which is most sacred, up for sale. The solution is outright prohibition of harms to commons.

  • I definitely will read your new book, you sound very interesting.

  • I look forward to reading this book.
