  • i have a 92 2.9 litter and they are known to crack heads once the temp starts to get up there im not sure about the 3.0 ..... what was the culprit for it?

  • @chevroletrocket - slightly warped head caused gasket to left and leak coolant into the #1 & #2 cylinders. The water jacket port in the block & head was between the two cylinders...

  • Stupid motard son, Duhh Huhh HUhh doesn't even deserve a fucking vehicle, let alone to breathe air that could have gone to me.

  • @MarillionDeVoid - It is easy for you to talk like this because you have no sense of decency or ability to conceive consequences. Try saying something like that in my face and there would be a different result than this reply. He is my son and I love him and would defend him against the likes of you who means only to harm. Now tell me who deserves to breathe?

  • alright i need help my car is a 1995 saturn sl2 has126,000 miles every now and then my car with idle real low and sputter then it will completely stall out i replaced the fuel filter and it didn't fix it?? and replaced the thermostat too still same thing

  • @TNJfarm - Really can't be too much help on an interment issue that requires troubleshooting but I will tell you not to rule out the ignition system or electric fuel pumps. Fuel pressure checks at the time of trouble will help you rule out fuel delivery issues. Electronics in automotive can overheat and cause problems. Problems with exhaust such as Catalytic converters plugging up can cause similar issues and will cause the engine to perform poorly.

  • @dithbmine1 We really need to export more of our American dollars and jobs overseas so that we can continue to weaken the economy and do away with the middle class. Our country will become the have and have not. By the way I do like Toyota vehicles and have owned one in the past.

  • @JITProductions Lol middle class is 66% of the U.S. you lose that and the country falls..... here is an idea move to another country if you don't like it....and adding "we really need to export more of our American dollars" doesn't make you seem that smart at all, what else to we have Euro's or Yin??? I mean really the level of stupid people on Youtube blows my mind! Also I see your a self made Business Man!! soooo? in today's world that barely puts you over middle class LMAO fail

  • these 3 videos are entertaining, but is not a how to

  • I rebuilt the entire engine in my 91 Ford Ranger this spring. It was the same model of 3.0L as in your son's truck, and this video was an invaluable resource for me. I have previous experience working in a wrecking yard, but I had never done anything so ambitious before. It has been well over 3000 miles since the rebuild, and it is running great. Thank you so much for posting this.

  • I had to do the same thing when I was 20.

I have built a few motors in my time....my maverick had bout 480 hp NA right now.

But I was expecting for my 3.0 in my 99 to blow up even tho It had a misfire and a leaking head gasket (they guy i bought it from put dexcool in it) and it never did. just kept ticken away.

Stout little motors that will run for ever.

  • @JITProductions Consider yourself Lucky, my 4.0 has one cracked head I have to replace, I wish they both were only warped :/

  • Its pretty cool you put this video together, go you.. @ the internet trolls who could possibly have anything negative about this video, F*ck off and die!

  • yeah keep ruving it up that will fix it - can't possibly make it worse, we get it dude, water in the engine "lotta water" so TURN IT OFF MAN - lol
