Very small part of a flock of approximately 5 million blackbirds. A better sense of scale can be found around the 1:41 mark to the end. Hundreds of thousands had already passed and hundreds of thousands were already roosting upstream of this river of birds. (75% Common Grackle, 20% Red-winged Blackbird, 5% European Starling) at Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area, Boone County, Missouri on 17 Dec 2011 during the Columbia Christmas Bird Count
