Surprise plena routine for papi's 60th birthday celebration

Mom had asked me to do a plena solo for papi's surprise 60th birthday party (2/20/10). I gladly complied. However, the routine evolved from a one-woman-show, to a three-couple show.

Thanks to Elias, my boyfriend, who edited the almost 6-minute song to a 3-minute song, helped me choreograph the last minute of the routine, as well as work on the guys' footwork and styling.

This proves that music has no barriers, as the other couple was from Argentina (Romina) and Spain (Jomiel).

Also, a biiiiiiig thanks Nelson and Mayri for taking part in the super integral flag bearing!!!!

We know everyone enjoyed it. Jomiel, kuddos for great recovery. heehee

Plena is a folkloric genre native to Puerto Rico.
