@TheSoccerEssentials Hey! I'm from India and nobody over here promotes football a.k.a soccer. Only a few at least. I started playing at about 9 and i was bad back then. By watching, i taught myself how to kick and all the basics, but i'm 14 now and as you know i can't become faster by watching! I am also REALLY short for my age, im like 4 feet something. I do these drills ( not the hill one ) twice a week but they dont help.

@Knittu1998 - Why don't they help? What are you expeting? And how long have you been doing them. You can't do them for 1 week at less than 100% and expect results. You know what I mean?

If this is specifically about speed and acceleration, I believe you should be looking more at strength drills. The more force you apply to the ground upon landing, the faster you will be. All things equal, a stronger running will be faster. Training with box jumps and one-legged bodyweight deadlifts will bring great results.

@kakeemono - Plyometrics. Yep - search my channel for Soccer Plyometrics and try those.
