Little Secret; TWO

I forgot to put on the last one where it changes to and from POV's so I'll make sure I include it this time, hope you guys are enjoying this so far, not sure where this is going to go for sure but I like it:)

A few days pass and I check the mail box every morning but nothing had yet arrived back. Every morning I would go to work and pretend that everything was okay when instead I was unsettled and needed to know if she got my letter.

I arrive to the resturant for my half day shift and fasten up my apron to see Jessie speaking with a dark haired customer "Hey" I smile as she comes over "He's cute" I nudge her, she blushes and looks away, I laugh and pick up my small pad turning around quickly "I'm sorry" I say bumping into a gentleman with curly hair and brown eyes "It's okay" He says walking towards a table, I roll my eyes and follow him "Can I get you anything?" I offer, he nods "Coffee, black,one sugar" He says bluntly, I nod again and walk over to the counter.

I turn around feeling his gaze on me and catch his eye before quickly looking away, he seemed so familiar.

"Demi, can you take over my table?" Jessie asks, I nod as she hands me a plate of chicken and fries, I take it over to the table while she works with my customer, I sigh slightly "Hey, you free tonight?" One of the men say sitting at the table "I'm sorry but I'm not your type" I tease, making to walk away feeling his hand grab my wrist "What did you just say to me?" He hisses, I yank my arm out of his grasp "I said.." I pick up his glass of water "I'm not your type, got it!" I yell tipping it over his head, my manager coming out straight away.

"Demi, what the hell?!" She screams, I laugh slightly and take off my apron, throwing it to the floor "It's okay Cassie, I quit" I smile, walking out of the doors to see the stranger staring at me again.

"You did good today" Alex says packing away his makeup as I change into a pair of jeans, I sigh "Not as good as I had hoped, my head is everywhere, what if she's some kind of stalker?" I gulp, Alex rolls his eyes and wraps his arm around me gently "Sweetie, I don't think she would lie about being your sister" He whispers, I shrugg "In this world, you never know" I roll my eyes grabbing my purse.

"Let's go home, Nick's called me a few times he must have some news on her" I say, heading towards the main doors and out to the car.

I arrive home to see Joe and Nicks cars both pulled into the driveway, I step out of my mercedes and lock up before making my way through the huge wooden doors "Joe" I call out, he stands up from the livingroom and Nick follows "Nick's got stuff on her, I think you should contact her" Joe says, I look from Joe to Nick and they both nod "She's got quite a temper, she quit her job today because some jerk layed his hands on her, she's got her own apartment, seems to have a good and safe social life with a stable family background" Nick finishes, I sigh with relief and look at Joe "Get me some paper" I smile as he stands "Thanks Nick" I nod, he nods back "Anytime Miley" He says, standing up.
