Amazing how luck transforms a season. If any one of these moments doesn't go the Giants way, they aren't in the Super Bowl: Cruz "giving himself up" fumble vs. Arizona, Romo 3 INT game vs. Detroit, Jason Garrett icing his own kicker, Kyle Williams muffed punt up 14-10, Ahmad Bradshaw forward motion preventing a forced fumble, and Kyle Williams OT punt return fumble.

They're the luckiest team in NFL history and they still only won 9 games.

@jejesdad I understand you--like many NFL fans-- always want to find some excuse to make sense of a loss. It makes you feel better. BUT, the 49s weren't moving the ball at all on their last 4 drives of the game. They had their chances, but weren't generating any offence to win.

Also, fielding a punt and returning it isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world to do.

Those guys are trying to destroy you out there, or at least strip the ball.
