  • warm up the vehicle before driving? I can let my truck idle for half an hour and the temp gauge won't budge.

  • @grasscutter88 You may need a new thermostat.

  • how do u feel about banks tuners?

  • @rquarantine I have the highest respect for Gale Banks and his products, he has done as much for the diesel aftermarket industry as Vic Edelbrock did for the gasoline aftermarket. I like dp-tuner better because Jody tunes all aspects of the truck including shifting and real world fuel maps not just for wide open throttle.

  • Bill, You should do a video on basic shop practices; how to pour oil from a jug, wrenching tricks, keeping dirt out of components, etc. Keep up the great work and thanks for passing on your knowledge!

  • @smackersmom That's a good idea. Maybe a reality type scenario where I'm in the shop teaching the new guy what to do to take care of tools etc.

  • @powerstrokehelp Man, to be honest i'm not a Ford guy. But I of course don't hate Ford. I like watching your videos because I love learning about diesels and I always want to know more about every diesel (Light duty-Heavy duty). I've watched so many of your videos and have gained so much information. Not proper schooling but you teach great man. You actually brake it down and don't try to sound smart when teaching something. Nice work man and keep it up!

  • what do you think about the high idle on warming up these newer diesel pickups? does it save enough fuel to justify a the fuel consumption of a complete warmup with the high idle?

  • @michiganmudfreaks that is dam good mpg for a stock truck by sisters husband get 24 every where in his 7.3 and he runs the crap out of it
