dutch english marines are more commando based infantry that what is effective about the marines there heavily trained troops and normally they come in big numbers..bu usmc is more liek infantry i dont think there aswel trained as brits or dutch

Helaas hoor ik bij de groep die bij 2:07 af viel... EVO 2007.

Ik heb net voor en vooral tijdens Texel en vlak voor de FINEX scheenbeenvliesontsteking gekregen...

Ik zit er nu nog steeds mee, het is chronisch...

and in wartime both marines and sf fall under the same unit (uk/nl landing force)

the dutch marines are regarded by people who know what theyre talking about

some even speculate the germans bombed the city out of frustration because they couldnt get rid of the marines holding the bridge..

even when low on amo they did a al out charge on the german with knuckles and bayonets..

@WestPlatteCrossCount Last but not least: The Marines whom devended the willemsbrug at the nothern island obtained the nickname: The Black Devils.

Why? first because of there bravery and such, AND because they were issued black coats. I dont believe the nickname is honored nowadays.

@WestPlatteCrossCount In the end the Marines succeeded in there objectives and tacticly won at rotterdam ( so did dutch forces at Ypenburg but that is another story ). After there surrender they recieved millitary respect from the paratroopers for there magnificant suffering AND unjustified bombing of there beloved city ( wich still is nomore along with parts of other dutch cities such as middelburg ).
