Photos from the Sea Ray AquaPalooza Signature Event Featuring Alan Jackson. This was held on Lake Martin (Tallapoosa River) at Kowaliga on the Tallapoosa/Elmore County Lines.
Lake Martin, a man made lake on the Tallapoosa River, has over 700 miles of shoreline. When it was formed in the 1920's, it was very briefly the largest man-made body of water in the world. This record was soon beat out by a lake in Russia, though.
Lake Martin is well known as one of the cleanest lakes in the country.

me? I was there, and just so you know I live on the lake during the summer, on a SEA RAY boat. sea ray had a rough estimate and that's what they gave the owner's info.

I assume you were probably there, too. Correct? If so, do you have any estimates on how many boats and folks were there?

There was roughly 2500 3000 boats there and around 25,000 people. Nice job on the video too bad you didn't catch our group. Though we were out around the back, but hey 4 30+ foot boats tied up together oughta be noticed huh? haha

A very belated update on the attendance numbers. It was estimated that at its height, there were close to 50,000 people in attendance.
