My project partner (Jimmy) and I made Boba for our senior project at CalPoly San Luis Obispo back in Spring 2004. It took us 1 quarter to design, build, program and document it. The walking algorithm was done in 1 day. Definitely needs a lot of improvement. He listens to voice commands and has infrared eyes to avoid obstacles. Currently, he is programmed for sitting down, getting up, walking, saying no by shaking his head, turning and peeing. I haven't gotten a chance to video the other ones.. may be later :)
Oh my god, that's amazing!! And you did it with only you and a partner! I'd buy one, definately!
