@AlexGeoffreyForbes i used to use and love FL and i still think its a decent program but my opinion is that logic is way superior ! In logic the possibilities are endless and quality is much much higher ! IMO

try that with vocals

Nice tip, but its alot easier to just sample a wash from the hiphop kit in the ex24. Record a wash from the hiphop kit in midi, bounce it to audio, then use that sound to create new region.

@marekconnell1980 There's none until the very end. My screen recorder glitched when I was making this. Sorry. :P

hey guys, how do you rate logic as an overall sound prog??? (It's just that it's a lot of money to spend on audio software when I already have FL 9 Producer).... thanks for any feedback :)

@AlexGeoffreyForbes I haven't really used much other audio programs, but I like Logic a lot, for sure. It can be a little glitchy, and definitely has a big learning curve, but otherwise it's a great program. But then again, if you're already really good with FL, it's probably good to stick with what you know best. I have friends who make music with it, and it doesn't sound that bad of a program at all....

there is one in logic already.... its one of the samples/notes in the "orchestral kit" or something like that. cant remember which one exactly, but it starts silent and rolls into it.... obviously like a cymbal wash should!

Yeah, I figured that out too. :P I made this when I was first just screwing around with Logic, and I didn't really pay attention to all those presets in the ESX24 sampler. But I figured it was a cool effect to know, and people could use it for other stuff... I'll try to make more useful Tips & Tricks in the future, whenever I get around to it, that is.
