I guess the smart route is to find a 88-92 firebird with a 305 TPI. get the whole dam car because if you want to convert you MPFI V6 to a TPI you will need just about everything on the V8 TPI car. Everything from a 305 bolts on to a 350. Now find a( Roller motor) 350 Engine. Chevy Trucks & Vans 89-94. Check your local yard. Change the fuel injectors from 19 to 22 pounds & the computer to a 350 from a local parts store. Average MPG is 18-25 (350-TPI w/auto trans. 3:27 Gears. I hope this helps!
