Sam Flynn is the son of famous video game creator and digital pioneer Kevin Flynn. He was born in 1982. His mother passed away unexpectedly in 1985, leaving Sam and Kevin. In 1989, Sam's father was on the verge of a major discovery when he disappeared with no trace, leaving Sam's grandparents to take care of him. Legally, Sam is the largest shareholder of ENCOM, the company his dad worked for, but he doesn't want any of the stock. He lives modestly with his pet dog in a shipping container reconstituted into a home on the river with a beautiful view of the city and the Encom building itself.

I was at the SF press conference event Friday nite and it was freaking kewl! I can't believe we saw Sam jump from the actual ENCOM chopper. And Alan Bradley and Lora were there in the flesh.

@ToEhrIsHuman That's awesome that you were there in attendance at the Encom press conference when this happened. Yep, it was Sam himself that jumped. I was shocked when I saw this video that he filmed of the event.
