Ill. Man Charged With Trying to Bomb Fed. Bldg.

Federal officials in Illinois have arrested a man they say tried to detonate a van full of explosives outside a federal courthouse. Michael Finton now faces attempted murder and trying to detonate a weapon of mass destruction charges. (Sept. 25)

I don't see any entrapment here...You all are cracked. Taking those statements at face value, it appears he was motivated, and committed to action. The Feds were on him for 2 years. It doesn't take 2 years to entrap someone. This is a case of "Sudden Jihad", and it's common among new converts to Islam, or young Muslims who experience a renewal of "faith". The London Bombers, Mohammad Reza TeriAzar, John Walker...it's a long list. A high percentage of Islamic Terrorists are recent convert. Fact.

By your last comment, apparently, we are in more danger from "rightwing extremists" than we are from militant Islamic fundamentalists. So why not say exactly what you mean, which Ive been trying to drag out of you for 4 comments now. Is the real danger "teabaggers"? Is that your point? Are conservatives the real enemy?

Do you mean to say that the Patriot Act has emboldened Islamic Militants, or enabled law enforcement to become more effective? There are as many as 5 million Muslims living in the US, are you saying that these arrest are spawning more terrorists?

The Muslim who attacked a recruiting center in Louisville 2 months ago killing one soldier and wounding a second was also a recent convert to Islam(Nation of Islam or NOI) as were the 4 Islamic terrorists who attempted to bomb 4 synagogues in NYC and shoot down National Guard troop transport planes(also NOI). As I point out on my page, they are recruiting "jihadists for Allah" in our jails and prisons. What part of World Islamic Jihad dont you get? They are filling their rectums w/C4 now.

I was saying that while of course we all know and dipise terrorism comming from outside the US, we also have these people living right here. The FBI and CIA watch them very closely. In this atmosphere, it's not out of the realm of possibilities that these militant groups will feel emboldened.

LoL FBI sends agents in to convince you to commit a crime, and then provides you with the "means" to commit the crime, and then busts you for the crime. Its unfortunate this this is a viable and legal law enforcement tactic.
