In the Air Force some people work hard and some people but the CHAIR in Chair Force. AMXS workers- particularly females are under constant scrutiny and pressure that people in other job fields will never understand. Hearing them complain about how "hard" their job is or having to stay an extra hour to push a few more papers is extremely annoying. This one's for my sisters who get down and dirty on the line!

  • P.S. I have no problem with Med Group girls. But I do have a problem when I explain how tough the flight line is to these girls whose hair and makeup are perfect every day and they go "we work hard too..." Trying to one-up me in the suffering department. Yeah right.

  • I had some A1C up at the med group tell me to fix my hair before the doctor comes in after a 12 hour shift..I wanted to hit her upside the head with a chock.

  • @MsEllieMay69 please share this with your fellow maintenance sisters who are fedup with the bitchassedness of other people who just don't have a clue.

  • @AMXSChic I like when anyone who works a 9-5 job tries to tell maintainers that their job is harder than ours. I laugh in every single one of their faces

  • Great vid. I was a DCC on F-16s. Didn't have any crew dawg females in our flight but we had some weapons chicks, they were every bit as rough and tumble as we were. Keep up the good work.

  • Lol love the video, happens all the time at my base here in miami

  • I remember my suitemate in Korea told my supervision because the shower was dirty, hmm I'm sorry we're in an exercise, I'm at work for 16 hours, have to walk back a freakin mile to the NCO dorms, plus being caught in MOPP 4 more than once. Get home, tear off the dirty ass chem gear/ uniform, sleep for 4 hours and do it all over again for a week....fuck you, you nonner bitch. She should be glad I even took a shower.........

  • @Mozartmostly There are some that do. One in particular comes to mind. She had the same supervisor as me. Both of our EPRs came due around the same time and both of us got the same rating. She had a hissy fit wondering why she didn't get a better score because of all the volunteer work she did. She didn't do crap but talk on the phone most of the time at work. I've seen plenty bust their butt though.

  • Having worked in aircraft maintenance, I know what it's like. In a way, I wish everybody had to live the life of a maintainer for a few days. I wouldn't even call those jobs a 9-5 job. A lot of them do a lot less. Then they some up with all kinds of reasons to close.

  • loved the video... hard truth for those of us who have to deal with not only with sexist males in the workplace but with ignorant females as well. every job in the AF plays a part in mission completion... ours is just the reason we are the AIR FORCE...!!!

  • sheet metal guy here, i wholeheartedly agree with you

  • Even females on the flight line work way less than the men...desert diamonds.

  • @apruitt1067 I work in AGE and there has never been a single day where I have done that! I wont lie though that I would love to cross train one day.

  • wow..all the females that i know do maintenance still just sit on there ass and push papers.
