this is stupid, these people probably dont even have a tv in their homes. if they still worked, they could be used. but no, nobody fixes anything nowadays.

I have a better idea, give them away to people who fix them, local thrift stores or pawn them. I am after any broken TV.

That's messed up. It's not the TV manufacturers that we have to blame for this. They make the TVs, they're not the ones throwing them away. WE ARE. We can ask the TV manufacturers to use better materials that are more recyclable. Most cities have recycling plants that are just for electronics. They have precious metals in them so they get to make money doing it.
