Most Christians are familiar with what Jesus said about earthly wealth and eternal life. Its easier to pass a camel through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter Heaven, right? Now, that may or may not be the case for concern for most of us, but what if Jesus extended that restriction to everyone? Well, he did. So, now what? It isnt a trick question, salvation is impossible for everyone, no one can obtain it. Thankfully that is the not the end of the lords commentary on the subject. His encounter with the rich young ruler culminates a wonderful explanation of Gods redemptive plan.
