After leaving Kelowna and heading over to the western bank of the Okanagan lake we soon pass the area known as Glenrosa.
As we continue riding southwest on Highway 97 we then take the right exit and make our make onto Highway 97C. This route will take us up the long climb to the Pennask summit and then down the other side to finally end up in the town of Merritt.
