Today's twenty-somethings were raised on a promise that never seemed to pan out. Having grown up in an economy that seemed to do nothing but expand, they graduated into the worst economy since the Great Depression, leaving them stuck with an unclear path to success.

So what does it take to become unstuck? That's what we explored in "Becoming Unstuck: How To Overcome Today's Economy" -- a night of discussion and insight into what it means to be a twenty-something in this struggling economy, and how to triumph.

Moderator:
Anthony Brooks, co-host of WBUR's Radio Boston.

Guests:
Jeffrey Jensen Arnett, a researcher at Clark University and the person who coined the term "emerging adulthood." He is also the coauthor of When Will My Grown-Up Kid Grow Up?, an advice book for parents of 18-29-year-olds that will be published in April 2013.

Sandy Machson, founder of What's Next Coaching & Consulting in Cambridge. First as a family therapist, and then for 20 years as a human resources professional, she has guided individuals and organizations in growth and change. What's Next helps individuals, a significant number of whom are emerging adults, to achieve career and life goals. Sandy has two children, and two step children, between the ages of 28 and 33.
