Al Sharpton & Tavis Smiley on the Democratic Party (2005)...

This is an excerpt of the State of the Black Union in 2005. The reason I am posting this is because I wonder if the discussion from the panel on this day is the reason Barack Obama is running for the U.S. Presidency. Could Obama be an agent of the Democrats to retain the Diasporic African vote in America?

Suprises me when ignorant white bigots say African-Americans should go back to Africa. Perhaps you're unawre that you come from a race of british convicts and irish vassals sent over to the US by the british. African-Americans will always be welcome in Africa. The brits hate are criminals -that's why they shipped you off to the US in the first place! Moreover, I never knew that Native Americans were white! @TheSugarcube2 Unity is "U" (you) "N" (and) "I" (me) "Teaching" (T) "Youth" (Y) the right way to progress. Again, I close it out. Unity is you and I teaching youth the right way, UNITY, to get to progress. Temporary progress is regression. We have had temporary progress, we are frustrated, and the wrong way is to continue turning on ourselves as the enemy. Lasting progress comes with solidarity amongst ourselves, the Africans, and other races. Unity first with us then with others, thats peace.

@TheSugarcube2 We have been isolated and in isolation continue forced practices against ourselves in accordance with learned helplessness. Continued Arab slavery and it resulted in European slavery. Continue now the American lynching and results in "black on black" crimes, murders, poisioning, and exploitation. We should unify with all people yet not before unifiying ourselves first. The last thing we need is to divide further with our African bros and sis out of frustration. Unity ist the key.

@TheSugarcube2 The Romans controlled battle and political strategy by dividing and conquering. We have let our inherited demonization and moral distrust to isolate us. Arabs now id and favor as White, All of Europe id as white, conquering and conquered nations of the Americas id as White such as hispanic and Natives, and all have hijacked the id of Caucasians instead of their various "white" delegations such as Anglo-saxon or Anglo Americans as one example. This solidifies them in unity, not us.
