I don't think that terrorists and insurgents in reality actually care about their family. And some war games are extremely brutal and violent - an example being Call of Duty: World at War. Infinity Ward and Treyarch can't exactly make the entire campaign of all of their games the beginning of Saving Private Ryan, can they? I mean, who would want to drag some wounded soldier's torso back to the rest of him in a game, let alone real life?

@InfiniteKingpin that is kinda kooky xD but Craig Fairbass is the voice actor for both of them. But that's just the industry. I remember hearing the rumour that Gaz=Ghost, but you do see Gaz get capped in the face and chest about 3 times. Ghost on the otherhand, might still be alive because if you look at the clip then you can see the exit wound and entry wound at the shoulder. Of course, he would still have to survive being soaked in gas and lit on fire. ARGH! MW3 come out already goddamnit!

@InfiniteKingpin lots of rumours, there's only one way to definitively confirm that Ghost is dead. And that is to play MW3 :D:D:D:D dead or not, he was still a badass.

@dkiefersu there was also a rumor that gaz was in mw2 as ghost, but that was a bunch of crap. Ghost was shot in the head, then burned, theres NO WAY ghost is coming back...

@CJLewis20 same!!!! I was so mad at sheppard that I went to the first level, got into the pit and shot him right in the face! Apparently that ended the game xD .

actually :O apparently Ghost didn't die!!! There's a rumour going around that he's coming back in the new Modern Warfare. Apparently he survived sheppard's fiery grave. And to be fair, it's not hard to believe, since Ghost did escape death before by using some guy's Jaw to dig his way out of a 6 ft grave.
