I have a 1996 eagle talon tsi awd that i just got and it idles right below 1000 rpm which is good.. but when you start it cold it has a hard time starting and you have to keep working the gas for a while till it will idle and after you let it sit for a while when you try to drive it, it doesnt have any power! you can hold your foot to the floor and still go 5 mph... till you drive it for about 5 minutes.. then its not very strong at first till the rpms build,.. any idea what my problem is?

i found out that it might be having a problem between the egr valve and the idle air control sensor. they are not (talking) well to eachother...? found the compression and timing good. and it actually is not missing, its stumbling at idle. hhhmmm lol
