Actually, no, it doesn't creep me out any more than a Masonic ritual or a Boy Scout meeting, or an Al-Anon meeting does. I have no belief in the occult, nor do I have any fear of the supernatural or in any religious teachings or iconography. The thing that scares me most is the common man hanging onto outdated religious fears and dogma and imaginary conspiracies far beyond the need for them, and acting out violently when imagined bogeymen go "bump" in the night.
