When does belief usurp a sweet pension?

The 60's are beginning to look like a dream that could never again exist. Who is willing to sacrifice their employ? Why is it so easy to fire someone because of political beliefs? (I should say, when their beliefs get TOO much traction).

At the same time, why do I write that we are so easily castigated? Because you see it! You see high level people being destroyed by their convictions. You lose the grassroots that way, it has already happened.
