whats the battery timing of new one?

i have one and i've been using it for months . . at times continuously for weeks when i am downloading large amounts of data at nights, while running intensive medical apps all day . . . this thing is flawless

got an SL500 running Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.10 flawlessly. Only bad is the battery...45 minutes under windows 7 use? wtf?
