Question, how will it pickups register the strings if they aren't part of the circuit. [Don't you have to put a final wire leading from the grounds of the volume pot to the bridge completing the circuit through the strings?
Btw, great video it help with how to do the switch wiring! 0w0

@ROBOCOP603 piezos work from vibration. a piezo can be a drum, a mic, a guitar pickup. a speaker..the strings just create the vibration. thanks for watching!!

@bigdaddysmojo Sorry, I meant for regular guitar pickups that are for in example stratocasters and les pauls.

@ROBOCOP603 yes if you are using magnectic pickups grounding the bridge is something you would want to do. not an absolute necessity, but you run the risk of noise when you touch the strings

@bigdaddysmojo So you mean that there shouldn't be any humming if I ground the bridge?
ROBOCOP603 3 weeks ago
@ROBOCOP603 yes, your body is electric and that can transfer to the strings and through the guitar. and can be a hum, clicks, so grounding is a good thing there. with a cigar box guitar and piezo's not really an issue.. Thanks again
