Hi. We took a 12 day trip to Alaska..flew from Las Vegas to Fairbanks, a train to Denali Park, then to Anchorage, then a cruise ship down to Vancouver.
It was a great trip and we totally splurged on excursions...took over 500 photos and a LOT of digital movies.
My darling hubby, Larry, decided to learn how to make a DVD from all of this and, BELIEVE ME, this was not easy for us. We have learned so much in the process, mostly about computers and how they can give you a nervous breakdown.
Well, it's finally done....and we are content with the product and will be sending them out to friends and relatives...and also will be submitting the original to the Cannes Short Film Documentary contest this coming year!

Fairbanks is a lovely and very pristine, quaint town. I am sure you will enjoy it so long as you don't mind dark and very cold winters, and a lot of wetness most of the year.
We are living in Las Vegas, so this was a big change for us.
