In this talk, "Too Big to Know: How the Internet Affects What and How We Know," David Weinberger explains what happens to knowledge and expertise, now that there is far more to know than can possibly be known by any individual. He hypothesizes that the sheer quantity of networked knowledge is changing the nature of knowledge itself. He presented this compelling vision of the future of knowledge in a connected world at the University of Michigan School of Information on October 3, 2011, as part of the John Seely Brown Symposium on Technology and Society.
