This video will take you through the easy steps to make your Ibook G4 ready to run Mac OS X Leopard, the latest and great operating system from Apple. Bear in mind that an ibook is a travel computer and not meant for all of todays multimedia. These updates will keep your computer modern, but still with certain restrictions. • you need imovie

  • im typing on an ibook and its working fine

  • You can run Final Cut on the iBook G4. Not the newer versions, but you can run older versions of the full Final Cut, or Final Cut Express 4 or below on the G4.

  • hey big question i have a g4 and i cant find it for less than 100 dollars which pisses me off since snow leopard is as low as 30

  • @ATV642 im not immensely familiar with externals. I use a mini station for Time Machine on my iMac and that is pretty small :)

  • @eightbitheros by the way, my external HDD is a WD MyBook, it is a lot lighter than other hard drives and is very portable. I just find it very handy.

  • @ATV642 really? i don't know whether i like that. ironically i still agree with you because i don't use my portable mac for anything that needs that much memory anyway :P so i wouldn't need a hard drive but yeah :) i think I just have something against external HDs for some reason

  • @eightbitheros when i had an iBook i use a external and I took it everywhere

  • @ATV642 but if your taking it around with you then that's not exactly viable

  • where can i buy tiger cd version cheap reply asap please!
