upgrading the hard drive is pointless, just buy a portable one to save time replacing the old one.

You can run Final Cut on the iBook G4. Not the newer versions, but you can run older versions of the full Final Cut, or Final Cut Express 4 or below on the G4.

hey big question i have a g4 and i cant find it for less than 100 dollars which pisses me off since snow leopard is as low as 30

@ATV642 im not immensely familiar with externals. I use a mini station for Time Machine on my iMac and that is pretty small :)

@eightbitheros by the way, my external HDD is a WD MyBook, it is a lot lighter than other hard drives and is very portable. I just find it very handy.

@ATV642 really? i don't know whether i like that. ironically i still agree with you because i don't use my portable mac for anything that needs that much memory anyway :P so i wouldn't need a hard drive but yeah :) i think I just have something against external HDs for some reason
