Climbing Tools: The Bolt

Concrete mason bolts are the standard for rock climbing. This video is not in any way a complete lesson on bolting ut more of a insight as to how those bolts got there and whats involved. In the Rockies these 3/8 Hilti bolts are by far the most common. There are places where glue in bolts are required. Because of the limitations on time aloud we may have to revisit this again sometime.

@mikebarter387 Same. I have an old Bosch Bulldog 24v and use two motorcycle batteries to the same effect. Works well.

great video. actually i saw this about a year ago, now i am planning to tolt a climb outside my town and find this video very helpful. i have couple of questions, do you use aid gear such as fifi hook+etrier as you go up? and whats the spacing between bolts? thanks.

@SymAmineC8H11N I have a old Hilti T! which is 36 volt. I use 3 motorcycle batteries compounded to produce 36V
