@MyBaldMom show me where the affiliate link is on this video and maybe I'll believe you. Otherwise I see you as just another negative person who makes excuses not to be successful.

what do you mean exactly by doing your market research. i mean...yes i have gone on ebay and other websites and checked the current prices and trends in advertising a product. but there is no way in knowing how many of a product has sold in say...the last month from a specific retailer or in general. so how would i know if a product is in high demand or not?

@afy300 Market research is all about knowing your competition, knowing who to sell to, knowing where to sell to, and ultimately, how to most effectively sell to them. Using things like eBay, PPC listings, organic search results, buzz, etc. are all ways to do this. Tools (like the ones WWB offers) integrates and consolidates many of these results.

he works for the company so hes going to make a positive out of a negative. If a item is oversaturated you wont make money. And the lowest price always sells the best.

@fliptthescript 1) I do not work for WWB 2) The lowest price does not always sell the best...if that were the case, Walmart would be the only store online. Marketing and service is what it takes to be successful (and I know people who command over 200% over other retail prices and still make an incredible living). If you are planning on going online to make money with the intention of offering the lowest price, you are likely to fail. cheers...matt

Doba and WWB are quite different. The $497 price is both the directory and their education called "The Wholesale" (I personally think the videos are really good for beginners!). You can still buy WWB directory for $297 (one time). Doba is about $50/month (recurring) & all of the dropshipping is done on their site (rather than sourcing it yourself). That is convenient, but you will be paying a mild premium for that service. WWB=more effort, higher profits; Doba=great service, but expense.

I personally think you over stating the whole marketing edge and downplaying oversaturation. While it may be true that great marketing is the key to attract buyers, it is also true buyers are especially savvy nowadays, especially on ebay. So if I am selling the same thing everybody else is selling, a buyer will reach a point of marketing oversaturation themselves, and will usually just look for the cheapest price when they see everybody is offering the same thing, no matter the marketing.

Yep, I agree on much of what you say especially when it comes to the eBay market, but the strategies of eBay are changing not because of the oversaturation of the products, but the marketing tactics that are instigated. Trying to price-war in eBay is a losing battle. eBay is really about lead generation & trust right now...and once you establish that (even as a loss-leader), you can now open eCommerce doors to the SAME products, at higher prices. People will pay a premium for trust. (I do!)
